Jack's Place is a NO COST youth counseling center in Amarillo, Texas, established by the Jack Duncan Rhodes Foundation. The mission of Jack's Place is to provide no cost quality counseling services to youth whose families are facing financial roadblocks.

At Jack’s Place, we have the heart and the physical capacity to provide 25 life-changing mental health sessions every week. Currently, our doors are open for only 5 of those sessions because our budget has hit its limit.
This means every week, 20 students who are brave enough to ask for help are told to wait.

Each $100 donation goes directly to adding another counseling session. As an appreciation for every $100 donation you will receive a free T-Shirt showing your support.

We are seeking 'Mental Health Advocates' to sponsor a student for a full 10-month journey of healing. Your recurring gift of $100 per month will provide 10 professional therapy sessions, ensuring consistent, life-changing support throughout the academic year

At home she's wrangling her teen and 3 dogs, usually with chips and queso in hand. When she's not setting fire to a school project, she's probably hiding in the closet with chocolate-because that's what good moms of teenage girls do.

Despite the growing recognition of its importance, significant barriers to accessing timely and appropriate care remain. Particularly in rural and frontier regions like the Texas Panhandle, the scarcity of mental health professionals and the concentration of providers in just a few urban centers contribute substantially to the significant gaps in accessing care. Organizations like Jack's Place provide nonprofit counseling services, which are crucial for addressing these gaps, especially in offering youth counseling to those in need.
